About Us

Wade, Angella, Adrian and Hershey
Wade and Angella Maynard own and operate Lost Creek Outfitters,
offering Whitetail and bird hunts from their lodge near Carrot
River. Wade has been involved in the outfitting industry,
guiding hunters seasonally for the past 18 years prior to
starting Lost Creek outfitters in 2002. In the off-season,
Wade works in the oil and gas industry as a Vac truck driver
and as an electrical contractor for his Dad's company. Angella
does the administration, booking and cooking for the camps
and works as a Senior Sales Director for Mary Kay cosmetics. Wade
and Angella have a daughter, Adrian.

Ken and Sharon Maynard (Wade's parents) own and operate
an electrical contracting business in Carrot River. Ken
also keeps busy doing taxidermy work specializing in small
game. Ken has guided hunters for whitetail and bear
seasonally for the past 11 years. Sharon has been the
camp cook, working with Ken at various camps. Ken and
Sharon have worked with Wade and Angella at Lost Creek Outfitters
guiding, cooking and babysitting during hunting season. In
the off-season they keep busy cheering on their grandchildren
in their activities, working with their son Shane in his
taxidermy business Tru2Life Taxidermy, and their involvement
with their church, family and friends.

Art and Ghislaine Enns (Angella's parents) live in Carrot
River. They owned and operated a third-generation
family farm for over 30 years. Their son, Marcel and
his wife Charlene have now taken over. Art keeps busy
where he's needed, operating machinery in the farm, picking
up hunters from the airport for Lost Creek Outfitters, and
driving semi truck hauling fuel. Ghislaine has owned
her own business as a hairdresser for over 30 years continues
to enjoy it today. Ghislaine also helps Angella with
food prep before the hunting season. They keep busy
with their grandchildren, helping the kids with their businesses,
and involvement with the community and their friends.

Marcel and Charlene Enns (Angella's brother and his wife)
live on the family farm near Carrot River. They own
and operate a fourth-generation family farm including grain
and oilseeds. They have three children, Steven, Taylor
and Megan. Marcel keeps busy with the daily operations
of the farm, and hauling supplies on the ice roads in the
Northwest Territories the in the winter. Charlene
is a bookkeeper by trade, managing accounts for the farm
and True North Adventures Ltd. In the off-season they enjoy
the outdoors camping at the lake with their family.

Guide -- Shane Maynard
Shane owns and operates a taxidermy business, True2Llife Taxidermy. He is an avid outdoorsman and has managed guided at bear camps in the north for several years. Shane is married to Chelene and they have two children, Jessica and Connor.

Guide -- Evan Lefebvre
Evan has guided for Whitetail and bear and is a very avid outdoorsman, enjoying quading, snowmobiling and hunting. Evan also works on the rigs oil and gas industry in Alberta.
